Ingredients

  • Coriander
  • Red Chilli
  • Black Gram
  • Toor Dhal
  • Asafoetida
  • Fenugreek
  • Turmeric
  • Gram Dhal
  • Salt.

Preparation

Wash 100g toor dhal and cook in 1 cup water for 10 minutes or for 3-4 whistles in a pressure cooker. Simmer the chopped vegetables of your choice with salt, turmeric powder, and enough water until they are half-cooked. Then add tomatoes and lady’s finger and cook well. Now add cooked dhal and UniTaste Special ElaSadya Sambar Powder to the vegetables and simmer for 3 minutes until well combined. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard, red chillies and curry leaves. Mix the tempering to the prepared sambar.
